A short answer quiz consists of six components.

·Quiz controller (in blue color)

It controls the operation of the short answer quiz object. Double click on this object to edit the quiz behavior.

·Question text

This text contains the question you want to show to user.

·Text Entryfield

This text entryfield is for user to type in the answer.

·Submit Button

This button is for user to press to submit the typed answer.

·Correct Callout

This callout will show when user is making right answer.

·Incorrect Callout

This callout will show when user is making wrong answer.

Correct answer

To set the correct answer

 

Case sensitive

To set whether the answer is/is not case sensitive

 

On correct answer

 

Add score by

The score to be added when the answer is correct

 

Show correct notification

To show/hide the correct callout object when the answer is correct

 

On wrong answer

 

Deduct score by

The score to be deducted when the answer is wrong

 

Number of attempt allowed

The number of attempt user is allowed before making the correct answer.

 

Show wrong notification

To show/hide the incorrect notification when the answer is wrong

 

Replay from the start of the slide

To replay/ not replay from the start of the slide if the answer is wrong. This option is useful if you have an instruction/tips showing before the start of the quiz object and you want them to be repeated when the user is making a wrong answer.

Have time limit of

To enable/disable time limit. When enabled, you can specify how long the time limit is.
